The problem
A row of townhouses has to feel like a street rather than one unit repeated down a row. It is the hardest single problem in medium-density imagery.
Our approach
The fix is a build-up of small differences rather than camera tricks: planting that changes from garden to garden, a resident sitting out in a front courtyard, a man wheeling his bicycle along the sidewalk, and a camera held at eye height from the street, where a buyer will actually stand.
Look closely
Follow the fence line. The brick piers and slatted infill repeat from home to home; the planting behind them does not. That is what makes the eye read a street of homes rather than one unit copied down the row.
